Job Title: Forklift Operator

Position:

Reporting to the Manager, Operations, this year-round outdoors position will be responsible for loading, unloading & transferring freight in our Steinbach yard.

Candidate Qualifications:

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

Good organizational ability
Able to physically work in a challenging outdoor environment, lifting & moving various freight & equipment
Forklift certification
Strong work ethic and customer service skills

Class 1 license is an asset
Experience in trucking is an asset

Job Title: Brokerage - Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities:
Coordinating and dispatching loads, negotiating freight rates, and customer service.

Education and Training:
Post secondary degree, preferably Bachelor of Commerce in a related discipline. Computer training in the use of MS Word , MS Excel , TMW and any type of Customer Contact Management Software are assets. Past courses in the CITT program are an asset.

Experience Required:
Minimum two years transportation experience, preferably in Logistics. General accounting knowledge. MS Word and Excel skills. Proven ambition or entrepreneurship and proficiency in relational sales. Demonstrated ability to communicate with diplomacy with internal and external customers.

Skill and Competency Requirements:
Advanced oral and written communication skills; strong sales drive; interpersonal and customer service skills with a capability of building partnerships; sound analytical skills; a keen business sense; attention to detail; numerical accuracy; planning and organizing; ability to handle stress; and time management skills.
