For 60 years, we have taken pride in being an innovative service partner with our customers. Established in 1948, Big Freight Systems focused on being a specialized commodity carrier that catered to its customers' needs. The recruitment, training and retention of qualified, experienced staff has been key to our success. Considerable resources dedicated to the human element allow us to maintain continuity in our service levels, and our commitment to our customers.
While operating over 650 pieces of equipment, our operation has been designed from top to bottom to ensure flexibility in anticipation of changes in the marketplace. The evolution of Big Freight Systems has seen us grow from a local carrier in southeastern Manitoba, Canada to one of North America's premier special commodity service providers covering Canada, the 48 contiguous United States and Mexico.
