2018 Road Challenge 75
September 28th, 2018
It is with tremendous excitement that we once again announce our Road Challenge 75 Safe Driving Program. This is the fourth year we host this event and our goal is to make this year the lowest claims and accident year on record.
The contest will once again cover the last 75 days of the year and our goal is to heighten our team’s collective awareness of safety and accident-free driving over the most difficult time of the year. The last 75 days of the year can be the most challenging in terms of safe driving due to the arrival of winter conditions and increased traffic and congestion ahead of and into the holiday season.
Our drivers are among the best when it comes to operating safely, and our annual Road Challenge 75 gives them the perfect opportunity to prove just how good they are.
Running for the last 75 days of the year without a major incident is not easy, but we know our drivers are up for the challenge. Our team is an elite group of professional drivers that make us a company known for hiring some of the best in the industry.
To show just how important safe driving is to our company, Big Freight’s President and CEO, Gary Coleman, has authorized $20,000 in award recognitions. Our drivers will have the opportunity, over the course of the next 75 days, to qualify and have their name entered into the draw for the following prizes.
1 Grand Prize of $7,500
5 Prizes of $1,000
10 Prizes of $500
10 Prizes of $250
This year’s Road Challenge 75 will officially start on October 17, 2018 with the full support of our entire operations and management team.
As the winter season approaches, we remind all of our drivers to be extra cautious; take your time; adjust your driving habits and “Drive in Your Comfort Zone”. Do not take unnecessary chances or risks but rather do what you “KNOW” with reasonable certainty so that you will be safe.
Safety is serious business. On behalf of our management and operations team, we wish all of our drivers the very best as they embark on this year’s Road Challenge 75.
